IxD practices are evolving with the world.”

Gillian Crampton Smith, Honorary Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, and Kevin Silver, VP of Experience Design at Mad*Pow say an Interaction Designer uses 5 dimensions to interact with the system:

3D: Physical hardware 

4D: Time 

5D: Behavior
