Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, responding to help desk requests and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications, ensuring they meet organizational standards and user requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches, to ensure the stability and security of IT systems and data.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and implement solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation and administration of IT policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics, including software applications, security protocols, and best practices for data management and protection.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, with a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS, as well as common business applications and productivity tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with users at all levels of the organization and provide exceptional customer service.
