We are hiring a Healthcare Data Analyst for gathering, processing and analyzing healthcare-related data from various sources such as clinical operations, insurance processing, patient behavior and public surveys to identify trends and valuable business insights. Your ultimate goal would be to maximize the profitability of our business while also ensuring our patients’ satisfaction by streamlining all processes and bringing necessary upgrades in the system.

In order to succeed in this position, you should be exceptionally resourceful and must have past experience in the healthcare industry. Healthcare Data Analyst Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Health Informatics, Statistics or other related fields
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry, preferably as a Healthcare Data Analyst
  • Sound knowledge of data management systems and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
  • Experience with analysis tools (e.g. SAS) and SQL
  • Sound knowledge of ETL frameworks (Extract, Transform and Load Frameworks)
  • Solid understanding of all healthcare procedures
  • Experience in data analysis and data interpretation
  • Ability to present data and information with graphical/visual aids
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for details
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude

Healthcare Data Analyst Responsibilities

  • Gathering and integrating health-related data from various sources (e.g. cost and claims or clinical data)
  • Analyzing data and building models to discover market trends/patterns
