What does an Accounts Administrator do?

We are hiring a qualified Accounts Administrator for managing the cash flow of our company including accounts receivable and payable. You will be responsible for maintaining updated records of receipts and invoices, processing payments to external partners and also for reviewing and reconciling accounts. Your ultimate goal would be to ensure that our financial transactions remain smooth as well as accurate. 

In order to succeed in this role, you must be familiar with bookkeeping practices and must have a solid background in Accounting or Finance.

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA or CFA)
  • Prior experience as an Accounts Administrator
  • Experience with debt collection as well as bookkeeping procedures
  • Experience with financial and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
  • Expertise in MS Excel, especially in creating spreadsheets and using financial information
  • Exceptional data entry skills and ability to identify errors in data
  • Good time-management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for details
  • An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude

  • Contacting clients and sending reminders for the purpose of ensuring timely payments

  • Reporting on the status of accounts receivable and payable
  • Updating and monitoring internal accounting spreadsheets as well as databases
