Mobile Developer Job Description

We are hiring a Mobile Developer to join our team of developers. You will work with our engineers for the purpose of developing and maintaining high-quality, next-generation mobile applications. You will be working in a collaborative environment with various internal teams sharing a common goal, that is developing functional applications.

The ideal candidate for this job must be expert in translating code into user-friendly applications and extremely passionate about mobile platforms. So, if you are able to work in a fast-paced environment, and qualifies the following requirements, we would like to hear from you.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Proven past experience of working as a Mobile Developer
  • An attractive portfolio of released apps on Android or IOS App store
  • Knowledge of OOP design principles
  • Professional experience with various APIs and third-party libraries
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
  • Ability to work and perform well in a team environment
  • An analytical mind with a problem solving attitude
  • Ability to take quick decisions while working independently

Responsibilities

  • Developing fully functional and high-quality mobile applications by clean and efficient coding
  • Supporting the developed applications throughout their entire lifecycle of concept, design, test, release and support
  • Researching, and suggesting new products, protocols and applications
  • Ensuring that the new, as well as the legacy applications, follow all quality standards
  • Collaborating with the product development teams for planning of new features in the mobile products
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of applications so as to optimize their performance
  • Writing unit and UI tests for identification of malfunctions
  • Gathering the specific requirements/problems of the end users as well as suggesting suitable solutions for them
  • Keep up with the latest industry and technology trends by regularly updating the applications
