Account Director Job brief

The role of an Account Director is to carry out the responsibilities of account management and administer the subordinate staff. You must have excellent skills in retaining relationships with the customers. The duties will also include guiding the account’s staff. We expect you to possess exceptional planning and leadership qualities to manage and advise Account Managers, Executives, and Supervisors.

Account Director Responsibilities

  • Carry out performance evaluation by using key metrics
  • Identify the needs and requirements of the customers to provide solutions and develop new business
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams
  • Ensure that services and products are delivered to clients on time
  • Understand the reports of subordinates and examine the quarterly and annual progress along with senior management as well as external stakeholders
  • Resolve customer issues to retain good rapport with customers

Requirements

  • Experience as an Account Director or similar role
  • Must have a keen understanding of budget and should be able to submit reports on progress
  • Must have experience in negotiating and meeting the client requirements
  • Knowledge of MS Office and pertinent software such as Salesforce
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities to build long-term relationships with customers
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques as well as metrics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and leadership qualities
