Quality Assurance Tester Job Description

We are hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester for assessing the quality of our developed software through manual as well as automated testing. Your responsibility would be to find and report all bugs and glitches from our software applications, products, and systems so as to ensure quality production.

In order to succeed in this role, you should be passionate about learning and implementing quality control procedures and should have a solid background in executing quality assurance tests. Secondly, you must have a keen eye for details along with excellent organizational skills. Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Prior experience in quality assurance testing
  • Experience with SQL and test management software (e.g. Zephyr, qTest)
  • Familiarity with regression testing and Agile frameworks
  • Sound knowledge of QA methodology and project management
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot bugs/errors as soon as they arise
