We are hiring a qualified Forensic Accountant for auditing our finances so as to find inaccuracies and discrepancies.

What does a Forensic Accountant do?

You will perform forensic research and analysis of the financial data of our company for identifying business revenue losses or potential frauds. Your ultimate goal would be developing procedures for fraud prevention and risk reduction to efficiently and accurately manage the finances of our company.

In order to succeed in this role, you must have the ability to organize financial information into comprehensive reports which will help law officials and attorneys. You must also have a sound knowledge of all accounting procedures along with excellent investigative skills.

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA or CFE)
  • Qualification in Law Enforcement and Economic Crime Investigation is a plus
  • Prior experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Forensic Accountant or a similar role
  • Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
  • Experience with MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Sound knowledge of all financial and accounting procedures
  • Sound knowledge of forensic auditing procedures
  • Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
  • Excellent numerical skills along with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information

  • Performing regular financial audits for ensuring accuracy and compliance with the law
  • Ensuring all accounting processes follow legislation

  • Attending court, whenever needed
  • Reporting on damages and revenue losses due to contract breaches
  • Investigating complicated business cases for minimizing the risk
  • Providing litigation support and also presenting results for trial evidence
