Oracle – SQL / PLSQL / Stored Procedures

Oracle is a relational database management system (RDBMS) developed by Oracle Corporation, widely used for storing and managing structured data in enterprise applications. SQL (Structured Query Language) is used for querying and manipulating data in Oracle databases, while PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language) is a procedural extension to SQL for writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Stored procedures are precompiled SQL code stored in the database and executed on demand, enhancing performance, security, and modularity of database applications.
