Deep learning is a subset of machine learning that uses artificial neural networks with multiple layers (deep neural networks) to learn patterns and representations from large amounts of data. It is used for tasks such as image recognition, natural language processing, speech recognition, and autonomous driving, among others. Deep learning algorithms learn to automatically extract features and make predictions from raw data without explicit programming.
