PwC Acceleration Centers in India are pleased to announce the 4th edition of their flagship case competition, PwC Challenge 4.0!

PwC Challenge 4.0 is an initiative designed to attract and engage budding early talent from top business schools in India, to creatively respond to live and realistic business case challenges. The initiative is aimed at giving students an opportunity to stretch their imagination and find innovative solutions to tackle the day-to-day business challenges faced by our consulting teams at PwC.

As a Challenge participant, you’ll learn more about the strategic issues faced by organizations worldwide. As a participant of this program, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your critical thinking and analytical skills as you connect with PwC professionals who will judge and provide input on your business presentations and case solutions. Finalists will also get a chance to be eligible for PPI and win cash prizes.

Round 1: Build your Point of View!

What does a winning business strategy look like from your point of view? Can you convince management to shift their paradigm?

In the first round of PwC Challenge, the participating teams will act as the consulting team for the client and conduct an outside-in assessment of the business and prepare a point of view on the company’s key strategic decisions.

Team, you’ve got the basics! It’s time to incorporate new information into your point of view. You’ll undertake a comprehensive exercise to submit a more robust fact-based strategy and solution.

Round 3: Cohort Presentation!

It’s showtime! Gather your cohort to present the solution to PwC Leadership.

The format will be similar to how we conduct client meetings, with you playing the role of consultant and PwC Leadership playing the role of client leadership team.

How to Participate?

How to build your dream team?​

  • Find your three or four member team with a maximum of 2 outgoing exchange student members
  • Teams can include both 1st and 2nd year students from any specialization from the same campus
  • You and your team will have a designated period of time to develop your solution

What are we looking for?

  • Business acumen, critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills
  • Both qualitative and data-based recommendations
  • Make sure to use trustworthy resources for any secondary research that you do and provide references
